Prehensile Pow-Wow
The performance is an imagined sonic conversation between different earthly entities. The piece consists of a pre-recorded 3-part track on which the imagined sounds emitted by the three collaborators -tree, rock and soil- engaged in exchanges via live vocals. The imaginary interspecies conversation was recorded on-board LV21 at Gravesend as part of Hell and High Water (2020), an exhibition consisting of a group of commissioned artworks, curated by Caroline Gregory.
